A car crashed into a lamppost after a police chase through central Worthing today.
The car was being followed by a police vehicle when it crashed near the junction of South Farm Road and Teville Road, Worthing, shortly before 3pm.
Sussex Police has not explained why the car was being followed.
A spokeswoman said: "The car had come to the attention of police in the Bognor area and was being followed by a police vehicle at the time."
No-one was injured.
