A horse had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a bog.
The 14-year-old male horse got trapped in the bog at Lions Green in Tanners Farm, Furnace Lane, Lions Green, near Heathfield, at 6.30pm yesterday. Crews from Crowborough and Heathfield helped rescue it and it was freed by 8.50pm.
