RESIDENTS are to give their views on plans to build an offshore wind farm.
Energy company E.ON wants to build a £2 billion wind farm 13km off the coast of the English Channel, from Worthing to Newhaven.
It could supply about 430,000 homes with renewable electricity.
The consultation process will start early next year and will run over 12 weeks.
An information event about the wind farm will take place on Saturday, October 15 at the Eco Energy Fair at the Brighthelm Centre in North Road, Brighton, at 11am with an opportunity to ask questions.
If planning is approved building is due to start in 2014.
