A gang of men were arrested after two members were spotted acting suspiciously in a residential area in the early hours of the morning.
Police officers stopped and searched two men in Parkside, Littlehampton in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Officers then made a search of a house in South Terrace, Littlehampton and arrested four other men on suspicion of burglary.
Scott Keet, 30, unemployed, of South Terrace, Littlehampton, was charged with two counts of burglary and after appearing at Worthing Magistrates on Monday he was remanded in custody until November 1.
Four other men, aged between 18 and 28, were arrested on suspicion of burglary were bailed until November 5 while a sixth man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug and bailed until November 5.
