A family has spoken of their despair at living next door to neighbours from hell.

The terrorised Brighton family have suffered years of bullying at the hands of their nightmare next door neighbours.

The family’s matriarch has been prescribed anti-depressants because of the trauma.

To protect the victims The Argus has chosen not to name the perpetrators or their prey.

Victims of antisocial behaviour are often urged to keep a log of their troubles.

Today we open one victim’s diary as her anxiety levels reach “breaking point”.

She said: “It is making me ill. I recently visited my GP and burst into tears and told her what has been going on.

“It made me feel very sad that those people had done this to me.

“I’m reaching breaking point. Please help us.

“We are so fed up. We talked about moving today but why should we? It’s very infuriating.

“I’m becoming more stressed and anxious.”

The distraught mother’s diary documents months of threats and abuse.

One entry reads: “More rowing and violence in the front garden – won’t be long before someone is seriously injured.”

The family has called in police but the abuse has continued.

As a final resort the woman and other neighbours have now contacted Prime Minister David Cameron, Pavilion MP Caroline Lucas, Brighton and Hove City Council chief executive John Barradell and Sussex Police.

Brighton and Hove City Council has a dedicated anti-social behaviour page on its website and Brighton & Hove Community Safety Partnership has its own Safe In the City website.
