Cherished rings were stolen in a burglary.
Two valuable gold rings, one with diamonds and the other opal, were stolen in a burglary on Tuesday in Eastbourne.
The burglary took place between 10am and 12.30pm at a house in Glendale Avenue situated near the junction with Stuart Avenue.
While the owner was out, burglars broke in through a window and after making an untidy search took the rings.
Anyone who may have been offered the rings or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area should call Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
