The main carriageway of the A23 northbound is currently closed.
There is slow traffic while recovery work is being carried out due to broken down crane and spillage of hydraulic fuel.
This is causing congestion on the A23 to the A27 and on A27 eastbound to the A293 (Southwick).
The travel time is around 50 minutes.
The main A23 is blocked northbound for recovery of the crane and clean up.
All traffic is being sent up the single lane slip road that leads to the petrol station and then via the forecourt back on to the main A23.
