A man suffered a fractured cheek after being confronted by six men in a street attack.
The 30-year-old was attacked shortly after midnight on Monday, October 3, but the crime has only just been reported.
He was attacked in Cowfold Close by the junction with Mitford Walk, in Crawley.
He was confronted by a group of about six men, all described as being in their mid-20s.
One of them punched him to the face.
The man made his way home but subsequently sought medical treatment via his GP and it was found that he had a fracture to his cheek.
The attacker is described as white, aged around 23 to 25 years, about. 6ft tall, of stocky build with short blond hair. He was wearing a white tee-shirt and was clean shaven.
