A 17-year-old photographer from Brighton is in the running to be crowned the Young Apprentice.
Harry Hitchens, who has been working since he was nine, is taking part in the new BBC1 show.
The show's host Alan Sugar has defended allowing contestants as young as 16 to appear on the show, which starts next week.
Lord Sugar said: "We realised it was impossible to comply with the correct mentoring so that's why we upped the ante to 16 to 17-year-olds - but these kids are very well looked after."
