Irish cult fiction writer Charlie McQuaker is making a rare appearance at Story Studio's final night.
The live literary evening is moving from Komedia, in Gardner Street, Brighton, to a new venue next year.
Belfast-born McQuaker, whose gritty pulp fiction novella Die Hard Mod was released last year and discovered by publishing company Pulp Press's founder Danny Bowman at a Story Studio event in 2009.
He will be reading a short story called The Drink Talking, a dark tale of an alcohol-fuelled relationship meltdown.
The event is on Sunday. Doors open at 7.30pm and entry £6 or £4.50 concessions.
