A gift card designed to celebrate those who have gone the extra mile has received the backing of a council chief.
Amy Kennedy, the deputy leader of Brighton and Hove City Council, is lending her full support to the Post Office’s One4all scheme, which allows people to send a gift voucher to a loved one to be spent at more than 17,000 outlets.
As part of the scheme, people are given the chance to nominate their unlikely hero, much like the lead character in the recently released animated movie Arthur Christmas.
The grand winner could win prizes totalling more than £2,500, including gift vouchers and a new TV.
Everyone who enters could also win a £250 One4all gift card.
People should send their nominations of no more than 100 words to www.one4allgiftcard.co.uk/Arthur by December 11.
