The owner of a mystery stall which popped up in the North Laine in Brighton about two months ago has revealed herself.
Tabitha Green moved to Brighton in October and began a new branch of her business selling Kigu Zoo animal costumes which are all the rage in Japan.
Miss Green, 31, said she could not afford to rent a shop so her carpenter flatmate built her the stall and she applied to Brighton and Hove City Council for a pedlars licence.
The businesswoman usually works the festival circuit but has based herself in Gardner Street and Bond Street where she plans to stay well into the New Year.
She said: “The shops have been really supportive of me and people have said it's colourful. People showed me a cutting of The Argus with a picture of my stall in it so that's how I knew it had been in the paper.
“I have to say thank you to the people at Kissing Fish in Gardner Street who have taken me under their wing, have given me room in their store room for my stuff and helped me with my pitch. They have been my guardian angels in Brighton.”
