Here is a picture of the couple spotted cycling around Brighton handing out festive £5 notes to Christmas Day walkers.
The pair, who were riding a tandem, were captured on camera in West Drive, Queen’s Park, by Toby Forester as he went to collect something from his car.
The anonymous couple, known only as Mr and Mrs Claus, also gave money to people on the seafront and in Preston Park.
A spokesman for the couple calling himself Bob, Elf-in-charge, said the couple did not wish to discuss their Christmas Day giveaway and were taking a well-earned rest.
Mr Forester said: “I had my nephew with me and they handed him the envelope and then cycled off without saying anything.”
