A fourth person has been charged with perverting the course of justice in connection with the murder of missing father Gary Hampson.
Alan Topping was charged yesterday afternoon and will appear at Brighton Magistrates Court on Friday February 17.
The 48-year-old is currently serving a sentence in HMP Lewes on an unrelated matter.
Mr Hampson was reported missing in January 2011 after he failed to contact his ten-year-old daughter although his body has never been found.
Three other people remain in custody awaiting trial including Daniel Alexander, 61, of no fixed address, has been charged with his murder and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Roy Bartup, 57, of Natal Road, Brighton, and 67-year-old Linda Rosenberg of Montpellier Road, Brighton have been charged with conspiring to pervert the course of justice.
