After two days of voting, in which 290 votes were cast, the results were:
- Sainsbury's should definitely go ahead, another supermarket would be handy. 111 votes, 38.3%
- St James's Street doesn't need another supermarket. A new store will impact on independent traders. 170 votes, 58.6%
- Don't know. 9 votes, 3.1%
