I would like to thank all the kindly strangers who came to my rescue when I had a heavy fall on the corner of Preston Circus and New England Road, where I intended to buy some flowers.
I shall never forget one particular couple as not only did they get a seat for me, but the lady went into the shop and bought some roses and chrysanthemums. She would not accept any money for the flowers.
Then she saw me safely across the road to the Circus bus stop and waited patiently with me for the No 5.
I called them ministering angels.
They did all they could to help me safely on my way home.
May all go well with them when they move to Eastbourne.
