The go-ahead for the redevelopment of the King Alfred site in Hove was partly conditional on some of the housing moving elsewhere.
I believe the exciting ideas of Frank Gehry would ideally complement the stunning new football stadium at Falmer. The sinuous flowing lines of those towers reflecting the silky skills of the Albion players.
Instead of "The Four Maidens", the towers could be renamed "Charlie, Chippy, Deano and Harty".
Hove would get a leisure centre with some staid and sensible flats, while Falmer would be promoted from a sleepy dormitory into a rash and vibrant new town, shooting into the 21st Century with the power and pace of an Albion attack.
It's win-win all the way.
