A religious festival will be held on a seafront this weekend.
The Brighton branch of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness is holding its Rathayatra Cart festival on Hove seafront on Sunday, September 9
Devotees are meeting at noon at the bottom of Grand Avenue.
This will be followed by a procession in which an effigy is pulled on a wooden cart. The event marks a chariot festival held on the east coast of India.
The celebrations are expected to continue until 6pm.
