Police want to speak to this man in connection with a terrifying attack on a female jogger.
Detectives have released this image in attempt to catch the male attacker who sexually assaulted a 30-year old woman in Hartfield Road, Eastbourne just before 10.15am on Sunday.
The woman, who was visiting relatives in the town, sustained cuts and bruises during a brief struggle with the man before he ran off.
Police are linking the attack with two similar incidents in August.
On Sunday August 26 at about 3.20pm a 48-year old local woman was walking into Mountney Road from Green Street in the Old Town area when a man approached from behind and carried out a brief sexual assault.
The following day at about 10.45am an 81-year old local woman was walking along Dittons Road when a man approached her and lifted her skirt before running off.
Detective Sergeant Gavin Patch said: "If you saw the man in the Hartfield Road area, just off Upperton Road, on Sunday morning, or have any other information about that or the previous two incidents, please contact us via 101 quoting Operation Sullivan.”
