I must set the record straight after reading your In Your Street feature (The Argus, September 11).
I have lived in Brunswick Road for 28 years, and not 41 years.
You also called Sidney a seagull – he is a herring gull.
The bird author Brian Easlea who lives in the road would be aghast and probably not speak to me again. I met him a while ago and he didn’t believe we had sparrowhawks nesting outside number 42 with four chicks.
Sidney’s partner is called Sydneava. They call in twice a day, along with a squirrel, jays, bluetits, blackbirds and magpies.
