Regarding your story about the possible development of Toads Hole Valley (The Argus, September 15), bring it on.
Let’s build on this scrap of land. The only people who use it are those with scrambler bikes.
I cannot see the point in commercial units being built – there are already lots of empty units in Woodingdean and elsewhere.
We need lots of low cost-housing. A school is a good idea, and I’m sure shops would get used.
The residents near King George VI Avenue should be pleased, if it involves moving the road away from the backs of their gardens.
For cyclists, I would not want to cycle to the houses at the top of the hill with my shopping.
Let’s see what happens when the planners and “not in my back garden” people look at it.
It might just be a nice dream.
