A woman had to be cut free from a car after a crash on the A27 at Worthing.
Two cars collided in Upper Brighton Road, outside the Lyons Farm Retail Park, at about 2.34pm today.
She was taken to hospital complaining of neck pain.
One lane of the eastbound carriageway was closed during the police operation but it had reopened by 4.20pm.
