STAFF at Enterprise Rent-a-Car have been supporting local charity Forward Facing for the last four years by participating in events such as Tough Mudder, the London to Brighton Bike Ride, skydives and national marathons.
Forward Facing is a charity which provides creative activities for young people and children with long term conditions or conditions that limit them and their families and also local people who are disadvantaged in other ways.
Forward Facing does this through workshops, Memory Making Days which aim to build networks of supports, reclaim identities and to raise self-esteem by moving them away from their daily challenges, and also days out that include the whole family.
It also holds events for parents and carers of those affected. plus pamper days, film premieres and football days for the whole family.
Forward Facing focuses mainly on Brighton and Hove but also in the rest of Sussex.
The employees at Enterprise Rent-a-Car recently applied to the Enterprise Holding Foundation.
The foundation provides charitable support to non-profit initiatives that are actively supported by the companies’ employees.
The Enterprise Holdings Foundation sent them a cheque of £3,000 for Forward Facing. Enterprise Holdings have been a continual supporter of Forward Facing for many years and is one of their key sponsors.
Their generous donations, have meant events are able to happen.
