AIRPORT Parking and Hotels has been named Best Airport Parking Company for the eighth year running at the British Travel Awards.

The ceremony took place at Battersea Evolution in London and saw impressionist and comedian Jon Culshaw welcome Nick Caunter, managing director of the Crawley company, to the stage.

Widely referred to as the Oscars of the travel industry, the British Travel Awards are the only purely consumer voted awards in the travel industry.

This year nearly 360,000 consumers registered to place their votes with 722,473 votes and opinions cast between July 3 and September.

Winning at the British Travel Awards is regarded as the benchmark for excellence in the travel industry and APH beat tough competition to take the winning spot in its category.

Nick Caunter, managing director of Airport Parking and Hotels, said: “This is such an achievement for our brilliant team and a true reflection of their hard work over the year.

“We would like to say a huge thank you to our loyal customers and to everyone who voted for us.”

Airport Parking and Hotels is an award-winning airport parking operator and retailer.

This year APH also celebrated its 37th year as a retailer and operator of pre-booked airport parking and travel extras.

APH offers parking at all major UK airports as well as airport hotels and airport lounges.

As well as supporting the World Land Trust through the purchase of more than 1,000 acres of endangered rainforest, APH is also a corporate sponsor of the University of Southampton Centre for Cancer Immunology, where the world’s most eminent experts come together in the quest to find new and innovative treatments.
