STAFF and students at Netherfield Church of England Primary School have received a £10,000 donation from local employer British Gypsum.
It will fund a new outdoor gym facility to be installed in the school grounds next spring.
The school is the final community group to be specially selected to receive Centenary-year funding from British Gypsum in 2017.
The team at the British Gypsum’s plasterboard plant at Robertsbridge four miles away chose the school to receive its one-off donation.
Rachel Taylor from the Robertsbridge plant said the idea for the outdoor gym came about after the school’s Parents and Teachers Association contacted them for a raffle prize. Twins Samuel and Matthew Avery are pictured.
