STAFF from UK Power Networks have completed a year of fundraising for a range of causes.
In total, UK Power Networks workers have raised about £70,000 for a number of different charities, with team members also encouraged to undertake volunteering projects. The charity events for the year culminated in a Christmas Jumper day in aid of Age UK across all UK Power Networks main offices including Crawley and London.
Alex Sturge, head of communication and engagement, said: “Our staff are passionate about a huge array of charities and we always get a great response to any fundraising days or volunteering projects that are set up.
“There are too many individuals to mention but we know a significant number of people really drive forward our fundraising at our sites across the country and for us to reach a combined tally of about £70,000 demonstrates how much staff here care about a range of causes.”
