SPECSAVERS Brighton has been awarded a prestigious audiology accreditation.
The store, in North Street, has received the Improving Quality in Physiological Services (IQIPS) standard by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service.
The accreditation assesses services against professional standards across four domains. These are clinical, safety and facilities, workforce and patient experience.
It is designed to raise standards for people undergoing tests and examinations like eye tests and hearing tests.
Katherine Seeley, audiology partner at Specsavers Brighton, said: ‘We were delighted to receive this accreditation.
“We know we deliver a high quality audiology service but it means a lot to us for that to have been externally and independently recognised.
“The landscape for audiology services has massively changed.
“We can now work with traditional health care providers to improve all aspects of access to hearing care services.
“People now have greater choice, can access services more quickly, and have much greater flexibility about how and when they do so.”
