THE sky’s the limit for 18 Parker Building Supplies workers who have passed their exams with flying colours.

The independent timber and heavyside builders’ merchant held a special presentation to celebrate the achievements of the team members who have passed exams or graduated in their final studies.

Joshua Styles, Alex Kitson, Ben Curtis, Daniel Bateup, Rebecca Coleman and Ryan Channon all passed the Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Trade Business Services.

Tim Rogers, Mike McDonald, Shelly Hodges, Claire-Marie Rowland, Nick Needham and Ryan Philo each received a Builders Merchants Federation Diploma in Merchanting.

Tim Briance was awarded a Foundation Degree in Builders’ Merchanting and Laura Pierce and Dave Clark both scooped a Post-Graduate Diploma in Independent Merchant Leadership and Strategy.

Jamie Pierce was awarded a Master of Science Multi-unit Leadership and Strategy Degree.

Tristan Jarrett and Stephen Bruty passed their Cisco Interconnecting Network Devices exam, which tests knowledge and skills around technology and infrastructure.

Josh Scudder now has his Transport Manager’s Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage.

“I’m delighted that so many of them have completed the next stage of their studies as this can only benefit us all in their day-to-day work.”

Parker Building Supplies is an independent timber and heavyside builders’ merchant in the South East, supplying both the retail and trade sectors.

The company employs more than 280 people at 25 locations across the region.

It has 12 branches across Sussex, including Angmering, Bexhill, Seaford and Haywards Heath.
