THE Better Business Show 2019 was a great success on Wednesday at Worthing Town Hall and Assembly Hall.

There was a record turnout with hundreds of people attending the show.

There was a strong focus on Buy Local and businesses in Worthing and Adur, both large and small, were there.

The B2B Exhibition was very popular with more than 90 stands.

This gave businesses the chance to meet each other and network.

There was a wide variety, including local manufacturing companies, a wide range of professional services, construction companies and health and fitness providers.

An Info Zone was there with a hive of information for start-ups, growing and established businesses, including information about grants and finance.

The Coast to Capital Growth Hub team was there for the day.

There were also opportunities to meet buying teams from some of the area’s larger companies.

Keynote speakers included:

Andrew Ball, Head of Corporate Relations, Heritage and Philanthropy at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Kathy Caton, founder and MD of Brighton Gin

Chris White, Police Cyber Security Advisor for the South East Region Organised Crime Unit.

There were digital masterclasses and top tips on social media strategy and digital marketing.
