FORENSICS are at the scene of an incident in Eastbourne.

Up to ten police cars lined Firle Road last night as officers responded to an emergency nearby.

Pictures taken at the scene show forensic officers working in a small alley behind a plumbing supply store.

One officer can be seen examining a drainpipe before crouching down to take a closer look at the ground nearby.

Two officers guard the entrance, while police dogs and the helicopter were also reported at the scene.

Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.
