A NEW bar has opened featuring games including beer pong, crazy golf and... axe throwing!

Visitors to Boom: Battle Bar will be able to chuck axes - although there are a strict set of safety rules.

They will not be allowed to drink alcohol before flinging axes at The Beacon in Eastbourne.

Rudra Mishra, who is running the bar, said: “We can’t wait to welcome local people. The fit-out is looking fantastic and everyone here is really excited to do what we do best and see people enjoying themselves in a safe and secure environment.

“Yes, we have axe throwing, but we have strict rules around participation. We ensure that no customer is allowed to consume alcohol prior to taking part, there is a full safety run down, and a trained member of the team will oversee the activity at all times.”
