YOGA experts are limbering up for a weekend of perfect poses.

Organisers of this weekend's second annual Brighton Yoga Festival hope to welcome even more than the 2,000 visitors that found inner peace at their inaugural event last year.

The one-day drop-in community event curated by local yoga teachers will give visitors young and old the chance to take part in free yoga classes and therapies.

Organisers have said that Saturday's event in St George’s Church, Brighton, is one of the only free yoga festivals in the country and is open to all abilities.

This year’s festival is sponsored by Hove-based relaxation studio The Float Spa.

Co-founder Davy Jones said: "This year’s festival promises to be even bigger and better than the first one last summer, with an even broader range of yoga and therapies on offer."

Fellow founder Mikaela Perera added: “If you’ve never tried yoga, you don’t know what you’re missing."
