YOU would be forgiven for thinking it was late July rather than late September as the sun graced the county across the weekend.
The mercury tipped 20C on both Saturday and Sunday, enticing locals and visitors to the beach.
Pictured is a man tackling the sun-dappled waves off East Wittering beach on his paddleboard.
It was a similar picture across the coast with people eager to make the most of the weather while it lasts.
The forecast for next week looks good as well with the temperature close to 20C most days.
After a possible shower this morning it should stay dry for much of the week with sunny intervals most days.
