Football 4 Kids

Football 4 Kids is a new, local, family-run business that teaches children the basic football skills from a young age through fun-packed, energetic and exciting activities. It demonstrates good sportsmanship, team work and confidence.

Daniel East, who is a qualified UEFA B coach, has been playing football since 1985 at the age of 6. He has been the manager for Roffey Robins for the past 8 years and has seen his team conquer countless cup games. He also plays for a Roffey team himself.

Daniel and Victoria East wanted to start F4K because they love how enthusiastic kids are to learn new skills.

It started in September 2017 and has been happening at Rawson Hall in Bolney every Sunday since. There are 2 groups: ages 4-6 from 9:30-10:30 and ages 7-10 from 10:45-11:45.

"I like working at F4K because i love teaching others to play football!"  ~ Tyler Joseph, junior coach.

An hours session includes a heartbeat-raising warm-up, a football skill obstacle course, shooting practise and pass and drill before ending the session with a 5v5 game.

And it doesn’t stop there! F4K also do birthday parties which are designed to be full of fun-filled games for all ages and are made based on your party requirements. The party would include a warm up, fun football-related activities, skill trials and a mini game. At the end, all children get a certificate and the birthday girl/boy receives a trophy.

In the future, Daniel and Victoria hope to bring F4K to areas such as Southwater and Storrington.

Football 4 Kids are holding taster days in Southwater on the 18th Feb at Southwater Leisure Centre from 2-4pm and in Storrington on the 28th of January at the Grammar School on Rock Road from 2-4pm.
