We all need to settle down and read a good book sometimes, hence why I created this handy little list of perfect reads for teens and young adults!

1. Title- Carry On

Author- Rainbow Rowell

Plot- A boy (Simon Snow) attends his last year at a magic school called Watford. Simon has been on a quest to kill a magical force named the Insidious Humdrum, that has been wreaking havoc on their world ever since he has been attending the school.

Why I love it- This book is as dramatic as it is heartwarming. There are many plot twists along the way, and the book has the perfect ending!

2. Tile- How to Stop Time.

Author- Matt Haig

Plot- A man named Tom Hazard has a condition that means he ages much slower than the average human (every 15 years he ages 1 year). Tom has had to move around every six years in order to stay ahead of people realising he doesn’t age, and has lived through and met many extraordinary people. The only problem is that he cannot fall in love.

Why I love it- This book has affected me in ways I cannot explain and has made me understand more about different people and historical events. I can’t put into words how much I’d recommend this book!

3. Title- The Bear and the Nightingale

Author- Katherine Arden

Plot- This book is set in a village in the wilderness of Northern Russia, where many tales are told of spirits that protect the land, but our protagonist, a young girl named Vasya, can see these spirits, and so can a select few more.

Why I love it- This book is thrilling, and you’re guaranteed to just fall in love with at least one of the characters!

I hope this small list will help you decide your next good read, and that you’ll at least read one of them!
