Crowned RHS Chelsea ‘Plant of the Year’ 2026, Hosta ‘Red Ninja’ is You Garden’s red hot offer this week!
A breeding breakthrough introducing dramatic purple-red, green-edged foliage unlike the familiar blues, greens and golds of ordinary Hostas, it is the reddest Hosta on the market!
This rich colour emerges in spring and holds deep into summer, rather than fading quickly.
Gentle morning sun or bright, dappled light intensifies the colour, making this an exciting choice for brighter borders as well as traditional Hosta planting areas.
Compact, fully hardy and reaching around 35cm tall, it forms striking groundcover before purple flowers rise above the foliage from late summer into early autumn.
You Garden will supply one bare root, ready to plant, item code: 580158, you save £5. Please note: Dispatched from late November.
The next offer is for the Hosta ‘Twist and Shout’ Collection.
Shake up those shadier spots of your garden with a pair of energetic foliage favourites.
These modern Hostas bring colour, texture and movement to even the shadiest corners of your garden, with sculptural foliage and vibrant tones that look great all season.
In summer, tall slender flower spikes rise above the foliage, each topped with soft purple blooms that add seasonal height and attract bees to your containers or borders.
With narrow, wavy, ruffled leaves in tones of lime and steel-blue, they form compact, stylish mounds that add drama without overwhelming neighbouring plants.
They’re fully hardy and drought tolerant once established and thrive with very little effort and return year after year with even more shape and show.
Each collection contains an equal quantity of Hosta 'Silly String' and Hosta 'Party Streamers'.
You Garden will supply two 9cm pots, item code: 561403, priced £14.97, you save £10.
