The marathon is just over four weeks away and I am still worried that I am not fit enough to run it.
Trying to fit training around every day life is not very easy, and it has been made even harder the past couple of weeks as we have been moving flat.
After much shifting of boxes and furniture over the weekend, my boyfriend and I decided to go for a long run on Monday.
However, the lifting and carrying involved in the move had taken its toll on both of us and we were already aching and shattered before we even started our run.
We managed five miles before I had to stop. Johnny could have run further but despite my insistence that he carry on without me, he refused to let me hobble home alone.
We will attempt another long run this weekend and hopefully it will be easier because we won't ache so much.
I know that I will get round the marathon course no matter what because I am stubborn and determined. Whether I will be running all the way is a different matter.
