The Patcham Local History Group is hoping to stage a commemorative display of those from Patcham who served in the First World War.
We can trace the men who died from the war memorials and the 1911 census but what isn’t as easy is tracing those who returned home to continue their lives.
We would like to see photos and hear stories from anyone who has an ancestor originally from Patcham with an involvement in the Great War.
Our group meets monthly at Patcham Library, on the first Saturday of the month, from 10.30am to 12.30pm. New members are always welcome.
