Boss Richie Barker praised a perfect away performance as Crawley won 2-0 at Bury.

Barker also hailed the display of striker Jamie Proctor who opened his account for Reds with both goals.

Proctor gave Crawley the lead after 17 minutes and then headed a second just after half-time with Barker admitting they should have won by more.

He said: "It was a fantastic performance. We were absolutely excellent from the first minute to the last. It was up there with as good a performance I have seen all season.

"Without being greedy we could have won three or four nil and then we wouldn't have had that panic in the last five minutes when they were throwing balls into the box. I don't think anyone could argue we didn't deserve to win by more.

"Jamie was a real thorn in their side all afternoon. He did everything and weighed in with two goals. The only disappointment was that he didn't come away with a hat-trick. I was hoping we would get a penalty so he could take it and get a hat-trick because he deserved it."

The result lifted Reds to 12th in League One, 11 points behind sixth-place Tranmere with three games in hand.

Barker added: "We have got to take confidence from this result without being complacent. It is going to be hard as we are rapidly running out of players but if we keep playing like that then who knows?"
