Albion have faith in Inigo Calderon to cover again for the likely absence of Wayne Bridge at Bristol City tomorrow night.

Bridge is a major doubt for the trip to Ashton Gate due to the hamstring tightness which sidelined the former England international for Saturday's 4-1 home win against Huddersfield.

Calderon deputised at left-back and as captain, with Gordon Greer on the bench.

Coach Charlie Oatway said: "Bridgey has been fantastic for us and I think of late he has got even better but Calderon came in and did a magnificent job. He is a top pro and and is such a pleasure to have around the club, because you know at any time the boy will fill in any position for you.

"I think he keeps pestering the gaffer that he could do a job up front. When we train on a Sunday, if he is not in the side on the Saturday, he puts himself up front and he does nick a goal."

A fatigued Vicente also missed the Huddersfield win.

Oatway added: "We'll just wait on Bridgey and Vicente. We have three away games now and a lot of travelling which could hinder an injury when you are sitting on as coach for long periods. That will be a key factor."

Albion go to Bolton on Saturday and Barnsley the following Tuesday.
