Dean Hammond expects The Amex to suit Blackpool.
But the midfielder still fancies Albion to get the better of Saturday's battle of the seaside resorts and take a step closer to the Championship play-offs.
Blackpool's Bloomfield Road pitch resembles a beach, a stark contrast to the inviting playing surface at The Amex.
Hammond said: "Most teams coming here love it. The pitch at Blackpool isn't great and they try to play football, so they will probably try to get the ball down and attack us but I think that's good for us.
"When teams try to attack us we can pick them off and play our football."
Blackpool are four points clear of the relegation zone in 14th, although their cushion is effectively five points due to goal difference.
Hammond said: "Every game in this league is hard and Blackpool are probably not going to go down or up, so they might have that bit of freedom and come and express themselves.
"It's a difficult game, but we fancy ourselves against anyone at home. We are in confident mood at the moment. We've got fresh players coming back with fresh legs."
