Crawley Town have rejected a £400,000 bid for defender Joe Walsh.
Chairman Dave Pottinger has revealed the board turned down the bid as it was significantly lower than their valuation of the Wales Under-21 international.
Walsh has established himself as a regular in the Crawley side since joining from Swansea City on a free transfer in August 2012, making 57 appearances.
Walsh, 21, was linked with a move to Crystal Palace in the summer but committed his future to Crawley in September when he signed a new deal until the end of next season.
Pottinger said: “Today the Board turned down a bid of £400,000 for Joe Walsh. The offer is way under his valuation. Joe Walsh is a big part of our plans.”
