Solly March could continue his Championship run for Albion after another injury setback for Will Buckley.

Teenager March is on course for his third successive start in the League against Wigan at the Amex on Saturday amid renewed doubts about Buckley’s fitness.

Buckley asked to be substituted at half-time in Monday’s FA Cup draw against Hull, due to continued discomfort with the hamstring problems which have plagued him.

The right-winger set up Leo Ulloa’s first-half goal and provided another opportunity for the Argentinian striker on the stroke of half-time before calling time on his first start of the year.

Buckley limped off at Blackpool on December 29 and has started only 12 of Albion's 30 Championship outings so far this season.

March replaced him for the second half against Hull after impressing against Doncaster on his full League debut and keeping his place against Leeds three days later.

Tomasz Kuszczak, Stephen Ward and Andrea Orlandi were all rested for Hull's visit, while captain Gordon Greer, the fit-again Bruno and David Rodriguez were among the substitutes.

The Seagulls also have Cup-tied central midfielder Dale Stephens available to face Wigan.

Albion are at Bognor tonight in the quarter-finals of the Sussex Senior Cup (7.45pm).
