Crawley will be boosted by the return of Kyle McFadzean and Matt Tubbs for what boss John Gregory has dubbed a “must-win” game against Crewe today.
A run of four consecutive defeats has left Reds just six points above their relegation threatened visitors with tough looking trips to Brentford and MK Dons to follow.
McFadzean returns from a two-game ban for collecting ten bookings while Tubbs missed the defeats at Preston and Port Vale due to a hamstring injury.
However, Crawley will be without midfielder Dannie Bulman following his red card for two cautions at Vale Park on Tuesday.
Gregory said: “We have to make sure we win the game.
“The play-offs now are a lost cause but I will continue to aim as high as I can.
“The teams down the bottom like Crewe are fighting for their lives and we need to be fighting for our lives each and every week.”
Crewe are sweating on the fitness of Uche Ikpeazu but the on-loan Watford striker is expected to shake off an ankle injury.
