Albion boss Sami Hyypia has told his players to show no fear and play with courage at Spurs tomorrow night.

The Seagulls, struggling at the wrong end of the Championship, are big underdogs to topple their Premier League hosts and reach the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup.

They are 7-1 with some bookmakers to spring a surprise at White Hart Lane against Mauricio Pochettino's side, 3-1 winners at home to Nottingham Forest in the last round.

Hyypia does not fear them and he does not want his players to shrink either.

The Finn said: “I don't fear any game. Anything can happen. The score can be anything.

“We can go there and win. we can go there and lose. It's very important that we concentrate on how we play there and how we present ourselves.

“We need to have the courage, we don't have to fear them. They have good individuals and they can really hurt you if they are on top of their game but we don't have to fear them.”

Kazenga LuaLua is likely to return to the starting line-up after serving a one-match ban.

Hyypia is still formulating his plans, with one eye on Saturday's visit to Bournemouth in front of the Sky cameras (5.15pm).

He said: “I am not sure what kind of line-up we will put out. We don't have a lot of options at the moment. We have some injury worries and Sam (Baldock) can't play because he is Cup-tied, so we'll see.

“I'd like to have a team that fights for 90 minutes and has the confidence to show what kind of team we are. If we do that then what ever the score is I'm happy.”
