Albion have confirmed they met Financial Fair Play regulations last season.
Clubs are required to notify the Football League of their independently audited FFP position for the previous season on or before December 1 each year.
The Seagulls confirmed to the League by the deadline that their FFP result was within the permitted allowances of £8 million.
Chief executive Paul Barber said: "This means the club will not face the sanction of a transfer embargo in January 2015."
Albion's full accounts for 2013-14 will be with Companies House by the end of March.
