Jeremy Balmy has reappeared at Albion.

The 20-year-old Frenchman plays for the under-21s at Luton today in the League Cup (1pm).

Attacking midfielder Balmy scored as a sub in a friendly for Albion at Hastings in July 2012 during the reign of Gus Poyet.

The former Le Havre prospect also had trials with two of Albion boss Chris Hughton's former clubs, Norwich and Birmingham, before joining Notts County in August 2013.

Jeffrey Monakana also returns to action for the under-21s at Luton.

The winger was recalled last week on the expiry of his loan spell at Aberdeen.

Simon Ireland's side started the year with a 2-0 win against Aston Villa at the Amex a week ago in division two of the Premier League.

They prevailed by the same score in their first match in the League Cup against MK Dons last month.

The Seagulls are negotiating compensation with Queens Park Rangers for outgoing coach Ireland, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
