Dale Stephens continues his comeback from nine months out with ankle trouble for Albion today.
The midfielder features as the only over-aged player for the under-21s against Cambridge United at the club's training complex in Lancing.
Stephens is expected to play a half after returning to action for 30 minutes in the under-21s' 3-0 win against Middlesbrough on Monday.
Albion have already beaten MK Dons and drawn with Luton as they attempt to progress from the group stages of the Final Third Development League Cup.
The Seagulls are continuing an initiative launched at the Middlesbrough match by making 100 tickets available to season ticket holders on a first-come, first-serve basis for the encounter at their £30 million base in Mash Barn Lane.
Season ticket holders must apply for their ticket online or via the Albion Booking Line on 0844 327 1901 and collect their ticket from the Amex.
Food and drink is available and gates open at 12.30pm, with limited parking available.
Albion (probable): Doherty; Barry, Dallison, Pappoe, Hunt; Deen, Rea, Harris; Muitt, Stephens, Davis. Subs: Vose, Barclay, Wiltshire, Starkey, Cole.
