Dean Saunders declared it a good result after Crawley drew 0-0 away to fellow strugglers Crewe.
But the Reds boss has told his players they have to follow up this point with a win at home to Oldham on Monday.
Saunders said: “That is three wins, a draw and a defeat so we are on a decent run.
“We lost last week so getting a point away from home in such a crunch game, as long as we win on Monday, is a good result.”
Saunders revealed after the game that defender Darren Ward has been ruled out for the season with a foot injury but Kelly Youga’s international clearance has come through and he could feature against Oldham.
