Albion manager Dean Wilkins today revealed plans to tap into the knowledge of some of the top bosses in the country.
Wilkins launched a programme of visits to Premiership clubs this week by spending a day with Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth.
Matt Miller, the Seagulls' assistant physio, went along as well to see how clubs like Pompey get their players in tip-top condition.
Wilkins said: "It is something I have always been keen to do, try to get round to other clubs and watch other managers work to see if there are any ideas we can pick up.
"I need to have as much knowledge as I can on the technical and tactical side of things but I also want as much knowledge as I can get on the conditioning side as well.
"Pompey have a conditioning coach but, at our level, we have to multi-task. Matt is an assistant physio, works on rehab with the players and also does some conditioning work for us.
"I want it to become a regular thing. Steve Coppell has invited me to Reading and that might be the next port of call."
Meanwhile, chairman Dick Knight has warned the 15 Albion players out of contract at the end of the season they will have to wait for their futures to be resolved.
Wilkins is still in talks over a "long-term" contract offer from the club and Knight has discussed with the manager several of the players whose deals expire in June.
Knight said: "Dean and I have discussed a number of them in terms of what we are going to be doing but it is too early to go into the detail.
"Every club has players out of contract at the end of the season. We probably have slightly more than normal because ten young players were given contracts last year, some of them for one year.
"We don't have to start making commitments to them six weeks before the end of the season. They are being constantly evaluated by the manager, the coaching staff and myself."
The list is headed by Alexis Bertin, Guy Butters, Kerry Mayo, Michel Kuipers, Gary Hart and the injured trio of Charlie Oatway, Adam Hinshelwood and Paul Reid.
The others are Sam Rents, Doug Loft, Paul Hinshelwood, Richard Martin, Wes Fogden, Chris Breach and Georges Santos.
